F*ck A Break, ScHoolboy Q Plans New Album For 2017

blame it on Patrick Glynn December 19, 2016

This year was overall a great stretch of releases from Top Dawg Entertainment.

Though the plans were to have six albums come out on the label, TDE is sitting at five with 12 days left in 2016. In order released, they are: Kendrick Lamar’s untitled unmastered, ScHoolboy Q’s Blank Face LP, Isaiah Rashad’s The Sun’s Tirade, Lance Skiiiwalker’s Introverted Intuition and Ab-Soul’s Do What Thou Wilt. SZA was supposed to drop an album around November, but it’s yet to see the light.

Next year should be just as big for TDE, as they’ve got another artist (they said two “John Doe”s would be added to the roster, one was Skiiiwalker) set to be announced and presumably an album from SZA ready to go with Jay Rock right behind her.

Now it seems that ScHoolboy Q isn’t ready to take a break and wants to join TDE’s plans for 2017.

He took to Instagram Monday morning saying, “BLANKFACE TOUR IS OVER…. new album 2017 fuck a break I’m already ready.”

Q might’ve released his best album this year with Blank Face LP, and if he’s ready to channel that energy for another album next year, we’re here for it.

Euros, pounds, and sum moe sHit!!! BLANKFACE TOUR IS OVER…. new album 2017 fuck a break I’m already ready
