Throughout his decades-long career, Talib Kweli has grown to be one of the most consistent emcees out. While he’s not released a solo album since 2013’s Gravitas, he has instead focused his energies on collaborative projects and building his Javotti Media stable.

While overseas on tour, Kweli spoke to Acton EntUK where he opened up on spending time with President Barack Obama — alongside the likes of J. Cole, Pusha T and Busta Rhymes, his thoughts on Yasiin Bey retiring from rap, landing on A Tribe Called Quest’s latest album, his next single (which features Jay Electronica) and more, before announcing that he has a joint album with none other than Styles P in the works.
