Part of The Roots‘ job is to make Jimmy Fallon’s musical excursions better. They’ve done that when Jimmy wants to sing songs with kids instruments, and they’ve done that with almost every musical guest on the show.
On Tuesday night’s show, Jimmy and a host of guests, including Paul McCartney, Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon and a host of others covered “Wonderful Christmastime” in promotion of the upcoming animated movie, Sing. The Roots, of course, were front and center, providing the acappella backdrop for everyone to join along.
