A little more than halfway through the year, when Curren$y dropped his seventh project in about seven months, it became clear Spitta was on a mission to release an album a month for all of 2016. Though the first couple months it wasn’t exactly one a month (two might’ve dropped one month, then none the other), Curren$y’s kept to a strict schedule since September.

First came 9/30, then 10/30, then 11/30, and wouldn’t you know, we’ll soon have 12/30.

Just before we head into New Year’s Eve, Curren$y will drop one final project, presumably at 12:30 p.m. on December 30. Spitta said this will be his last project until his album drops in April.

In addition to the four projects named after the dates they’ve been released on, Curren$y has also dropped, in order: The Owners Manual, The Carrollton Heist (with Alchemist), Weed & Instrumentals, Revolver (with Sledgren), Bourbon Street Secrets, The Legend of Harvard Blue, Stoned On Ocean (with Cool & Dre) and Weed & Instrumentals 2.
