At a Lil Uzi Vert show in Uzi’s hometown of Philadelphia Thursday night, Wiz Khalifa made an appearance to announce the 22-year-old rapper as the newest signee to the Taylor Gang label.
After performing, Khalifa ran through a list of people signed to the label, finishing the list with, “… and now Lil Uzi Vert.” Khalifa thanked Uzi for the opportunity to sign him, calling him one of the most influential young rappers in the game.
Uzi joins Wiz, Juicy J, Chevy Woods, Ty Dolla $ign, Berner, Project Pat and others on one of the most successful label over the last eight years.
