While it may appear that L.A. rapper/activist Bambu has strayed off the map, this notion couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Always one to keep busy and continue to give back to the community, Bam has been socially active, performing at numerous shows across the U.S. and world at large, handling business for his Beatrock Music business and recording new music — the latter which he’s taken a more grassroots approach on.
Today, Bambu returns with a lyric video for his latest, “Info Trip” featuring Mark De Clive-Lowe. Produced by OJ The Producer + DJ Phatrick, “Info Trip” explores our love/hate relationship with social media and how it affects us, as much as it brings real time world news to our phones, will also tackling a laundry list of all the ills life has thrown at us within the past few years — from police violence, gentrification, the rising cost of living, and the world’s addiction to religiously following the exploits of our favorite celebrities.
Press play on the Leo Docuyanan-shot video up top, as heard on Bam’s new album, Prey For The Devil.
