When you actually sit down and think about it, social media has inadvertently changed our lives for the worse. We live in an ego-driven, instant gratification world, surrounded by millennials who demand that their wants and needs arrive right f*cking now. Satisfaction isn’t attained unless that Facebook or Instagram post you put up gets an immediate reaction. No likes? Most will quietly sulk in the corner. Let’s face it, the world has openly succumbed itself to technology; we’re all slaves to our phones and it’s a bit frightening (especially with mass surveillance rearing its ugly head. But that’s a whole ‘nother story).
