The Weeknd and Daft Punk’s “Starboy” — the lead single and title track from Abel’s new album — is now the No. 1 song in the country. It reached its peak fourteen weeks after its initial release.

“Starboy” had been No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the last eight weeks, playing second fiddle to both The Chainsmokers’ “Closer” and Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” (now No. 2), respectively.

This is now Daft Punk’s first No. 1 single, and it’s The Weeknd’s third (following “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face“). The highest Daft Punk had gotten before was No. 2 with their Pharrell-featuring “Get Lucky.

In other chart news, Aminé’s “Caroline” is No. 11 and Migos and Lil Uzi Vert’s “Bad & Boujee” is creeping toward the Top 10 at No. 16. Maybe we’ll see them in the Top 10 in the coming weeks.
