Dahi Divine is a jazz artist, producer, singer, pianist and a slew of other titles from Philadelphia who’s worked with Rihanna. He makes his DopeHouse debut today with “Outro/Sway My Way” — a two-part introduction from his upcoming album Soundsmith.

The first section, “Outro,” is apparently one sliver of a three-part “piano movement,” according to a press release, before “Sway My Way” comes to the forefront. Led by a upbeat groove guitar strums and drowned-out horns, “Sway My Way” is the highlight of the six-minute mix, which features vocals from Gabriel Wolf and Jill Ryan.

“[‘Sway My Way’] speaks on all the things I have come to learn as a person who is trying to make it as an artist,” Divine said in a press email. “It’s a funky uptempo song that brings a lively soulful party vibe to my upcoming Soundsmith project, which tells the story of finding my way as a saxophonist and composer in New York and moving back home in Philly to pursue my dreams, surrounded by family and ‘day one’ supporters.”
