Fabolous and Jadakiss have been killing the rap game for two decades. And with their highly-anticipated Freddy Vs Jason mixtape on the way, the New York natives are taking time out to devour another lane: the sneaker game.
Teaming up with New Balance, Loso and Kiss helped launch the company’s latest shoe, The 247, with a custom Freddy Vs Jason design (created by Mache).
As far as the music, Fabolous and Jadakiss aren’t rushing anything. Instead of succumbing to the “microwave era” demands, they’re taking their time to make sure fans get the best product possible.
“It’s cooking, man. It’s coming,” Fabolous told VIBE. “I know this is the generation of the microwave.”
“But it’s in the burners on the stovetop,” Kiss added. “This the microwave era, but fortunately we using the old fashioned way. We using the top of the stove for this.”
“We bringing the pots out, you know what I mean?” Loso continued. “We bringing some producers out that are gonna add a few elements. This is a home cooked meal. This ain’t a pop-out-of-the-freezer thing, so that’s why we’re taking our time with it.”
