J. Cole Calls Out America’s Hypocrisy On New Song, “High For Hours”

What a pleasant surprise.

Although he released his fourth album, 4 Your Eyez Only in December (it has since achieved Gold status), J. Cole is still churning out music.

“This is called ‘being high as sh*t,'” Cole starts off on the song produced by Elite and Cam O’bi. The track turns out to be a politically-charged track where Cole waxes poetics on the “American hypocrisy,” a conversation he had with the President, and more. Perhaps not-so-coincidental that he drops the song on the last Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of President Obama’s tenure, the track can be heard below.
