Nick Grant made his network television debut Monday night performing a medley on “Love” and “Get Up” from his recently released Return Of The Cool album.
The performance started with a tender rendition of “Love,” which was highlighted by a famous quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: “I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.” Then WatchTheDuck‘s lead singer Jesse Rankins joined Grant on stage to energize the mood with the Karriem Riggins-produced “Get Up.”
