UPDATE (1/24): A month after it’s debut, dvsn’s “Too Deep” is no longer an Apple Music exclusive and can be seen via YouTube below.

Original post…

Of all the OVO Sound projects that dropped in 2016 (Majid Jordan’s self-titled debut, Drake’s mammoth-selling VIEWS, Roy Wood$’ Waking At Dawn and Nocturnal, and PARTYNEXTDOOR’S P3), it is arguably the debut album from dvsnSept. 5th — which was the best of them all.

Nineteen85 and Daniel Daley have, after many months, released the first-ever video from the album, for its second track “Too Deep.”

Absent from the video, dvsn’s brief video instead features a nameless starlet sinking into quicksand while walking towards a fire, symbolizing the whole “too deep” ideal of the song. It’s a bit… different from the norm, but it’s OVO Sound: they have a flair for the dramatics.

As a bonus, the duo have also shared a 2-for-1 visual for “With Me” and “Do it Well.” Once again, both are absent from the screen. Leaving the lens to focus on another lovely lady as she cruises with the top off, before nearly losing her own top during a sexual, ribbon-driven strip tease.
