Since taking over the reins of Marvel’s Black Panther, National Book Award winner Ta-Nehisi Coates has injected one of the most revolutionary characters with some of today’s top independent hip hop artists such as Kipp Stone, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Rhymefest, Jean Grae and even Run The Jewels.
Doomtree/Rhymesayers Entertainment emcee P.O.S is the latest feature, as his song “Born A Snake” soundtracks episode 9 of Black Panther’s video series “A Nation Under Our Feet.” The song is taken from P.O.S’ full-length effort Chill, Dummy, which lands in stores on January 27th (pre-orders are available now), and can be seen below.
