Now signed to Epic Records, alongside the likes of Rick Ross, Travi$ Scott and 21 Savage, Richmond, Virginia’s Divine Council unveil their first offering of 2017, “Dirtbags In Distress.”
Described as “a song about the current state of Divine Council,” the track also marks the first time that all four members — Lord Linco, Cyrax!, ICYTWAT, and $ilkmoney — appear on the same song together. The video follows their action-packed and André 3000-directed clip for “Decemba,” and is a hazy 180 from its predecessor as the Council imbibe on the stickiest of the icky. “I spent my whole damn advance on some f***kin’ weed,” $ilkmoney raps. That’s not too farfetched to believe either.
