Mariah Carey has remained largely quiet on the music front since the release of her last album, Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse, in 2014. Since then, she moved from Def Jam Records to Epic Records, had a residency show at Las Vegas, divorced Nick Cannon, did a reality show, got engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer, and split up with him.
Now working on her 15th album, she has revealed its first single “I Don’t,” which featured YG. The song is a trademark break-up song from Mariah, which interpolates Donell Jones’ 1999 single “Where I Wanna Be.” Available worldwide tonight (Feb. 3rd), the song is out in select international markets and can be heard below.
