Sampha‘s debut album is a long time coming.

The British singer and producer first mingled alongside countrymates Jessie Ware and SBTRKT at the beginning of the decade, producing solid work like SBTRKT’s self-titled album and Sampha’s second EP, Dual. Then Drake heard his music.

Sampha got his biggest exposure when he was the lead voice on one of Drake’s most honest and open moments rapping, “Too Much,” from his Nothing Was The Same album. Since, he’s worked with Kanye West, Beyoncé, Solange, SBTRKT a whole bunch more, Frank Ocean and others while crafting his official entry to the music world — his debut album, Process.

Landing at 10 song, the tracklist is highlighted by singles “Timmy’s Prayer,” “Blood On Me” and “(No One Knows Me) Like The Piano” — a painstaking therapy session dedicated to his late mother and the free and creative home she raised him in.
