Venomous2000 x Trilian – “Psalms 76” (Video)

Last month, Passaic, New Jersey’s Venomous2000 linked up with Serbian producer Trilian, releasing their collaborative album Sounds of the Great Ones.

The 11-track project featured appearances from the Artifacts, Cella Dwellas, Shamaab Sahdeeq, Inspectah Deck, 9th Prince, Reks, C Rayz Walz and more, with Venomous’ virulent bars woven through Trilian’s raw, boom-bap tapestry.

Sadly, the incredibly dope and polished album flew off the radars of most Hip-Hop fans. Fortunately, potential fans have a second chance to see what they’ve been missing as nearly a month later, Venomous returns with a cinematic visual for “Psalms 76.”

Directed by Smith Video Productions, the clip shows actor Tamara Weigel who, after tuning into late night programming, is met with a prophetic Venomous who appears as Hip-Hop’s savior and “once convinced that she understands the underlying message, she is able to comfortably sleep knowing she is shielded by the Great Destroyer of Enemies.”
