Jim Jones made headlines this week (Feb. 8th) when he signed a deal with JAY Z‘s Roc Nation imprint. This comes as a major shock for some, as the two had decade-plus long feud with each other since the disintegration of Roc-A-Fella Records.
Jim Sat down with Hot 97’s Funk Flex for a lengthy interview, where he spoke on ending the rift as well as detail the origins of The Diplomats as well as how his deal with Roc Nation actually happened. Unfortunately, Jim’s own relationship with Cam’ron would splinter, and while Jim shows signs that he’s affected by it it isn’t stopping his grind either.
