Jamiroquai returned two weeks ago with their first song, “Automaton,” in over seven years. The song was a blast even further into the future than their routinely funky experiments of 20 years previous.
“Cloud 9,” the group’s newest effort, is a regression back to the mean, which is anything but an insult, because Jamiroquai’s mean is still some of the best music around.
The song will land on Jamiroquai’s upcoming Automaton album due out March 31. Pre-order the album on iTunes.
