Anderson .Paak, recent recipient of Billboard’s GRAMMYs issue is set to embark on Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World Tour this March.

The 2016 XXL Freshman was nominated for two GRAMMYs, but, unfortunately ended up with no wins — losing “Best New Artist” to Chance the Rapper and “Best Urban Contemporary Album” to Beyoncé.

Although he didn’t take home a gold-plated gramophone, the Oxnard, CA-native did pull in a big win for Hip-Hop and the culture by taking the stage with A Tribe Called Quest, Consequence and Busta Rhymes to perform a medley of classics (including “Award Tour,” “Can I Kick It” plus “Movin Backwards,” “We The People” off We Got It From Here….

With .Paak on vocals and drums, Ali Shaheed Muhammad on drums and guitar, Busta calling Trump “President Agent Orange” and a chant of resistance, the performance was the best of the evening.
