Keith Murray has always been one of the more lyrically dense rappers on the side of the East throughout his career, and his works with fellow Def Squad brother-in-arms Erick Sermon has been some of the most underrated tracks ever.

The veteran New Yorker returns with his first single in many moon, “No Exceptions,” produced by Sermon. With the familiar piano stabs of Diana Ross/Michael Masser’s “My Hero Is a Gun” as the backdrop, Keith sounds as comfortable as he did during his 1994 debut album The Most Beautifullest Thing in This World. Perhaps a new project is on the horizon?
