Rich Gang — the trio of Birdman, Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan — came to prominence as a group with “Lifestyle,” a single from their upcoming Rich Gang: Tha Tour Pt. 1 mixtape that turned out to be one of the better projects of the year.
Just a year after dropping the project in late 2014, though, Quan (who’s had label issues his whole career and still hasn’t seen his debut album drop) and Thugger had a falling out that hasn’t really been patched up since.
Birdman and Thug, seemingly okay with moving on, are now ready to drop the second Rich Gang mixtape, Flashy Lifestyle. The trio duo make their official return today with “Bit Bak,” which is produced by TM88.
Rich Gang: Flashy Lifestyle is lined up for an April 14 release right now, but the skeptic in me knows not to trust that date just yet. Listen to “Bit Bak” below.
