I’ve got a feeling you’re gonna find Jidenna’s The Chief on a couple of year-end lists from the DopeHouse staff. Released last week, Chief revisits the project with a video for one of the project’s calmer tracks, “Bambi.”
After finding out his former flame — “Bambi,” in this situation (played by Megalyn Echikunwoke) — is getting married to her new man (played by Jay Ellis from Insecure), Jidenna runs, albeit in slow motion, to try and get her back.
