We forgot one.

February 24 has seen the release of albums from Future, Oddisee, Thundercat, Karriem Riggins and NAV, so of course there’s one we missed.

Steve Lacy — the 18-year-old guitarist from The Internet — released his debut project, Steve Lacy’s Demos, last night, adding to the incredible day of releases so far.

Lacy joins his fellow bandmates Syd (Fin) and Matt Martians (The Drum Chord Theory) in dropping solo albums. Something tells me we’ll see a lot of individual solo work from The Internet before they come back together more refined for their follow-up to Ego Death.

Steve Lacy’s Demos is six songs — just enough to provide you an introduction to his varying talents producing and singing — led by the soulful “Dark Red.”

Stream the album below, and cop the project on iTunes.
