Anything can happen in New York.

Last night, March 3rd, Thundercat brought his Drunk escapades and groovy exposition to Irving Plaza in New York City.

In true jazz improvisation form, a few celebrities showed face at the multi-instrumentalist’s show, including Hannibal Burres and Flying Lotus who were spotted cold chillin’ in the cut.

At some point during the sold out show, Dave Chappelle appeared on stage, grabbing the mic and properly introducing Thundercat and the rest of his band:

“Ladies and gentlemen, on stage tonight is the musical virtuosos. They spent hours and hours of their life practicing their craft, and tonight we get to enjoy the sum total of their work. Make some noise for your band.”

In true jazz fashion, Robert Glasper hopped on the keys, playing off of Thundercats incredible bass playing.

Check out a few clips of the performances below.
