After being acquitted of career-threatening sexual assault charges in Austria, Freddie Gibbs has kept largely to himself and his family since returning home save for a handful of guest verses (and, of course, the announcement of his and Curren$y’s collaborative project Fetti).
But now, he’s officially off “hiatus,” promising to release a new project in 2017. His first since 2015’s Shadow of a Doubt, he drops a quick teaser clip making the formal announcement. Aiming to make his next project a “masterpiece,” the metaphorical video can be seen up top.
