In what seems like a hasty resurgence in New York rap and its return to its grimy, lyricially-inclined roots, Rochester, New York’s Pounds—who released his Heavy Lies the Crown album last year—calls on Conway and I. Am. Tru. Starr for his Otto The Director-helmed clip “Kill You,” showing a stark contrast between life and death and the filth of the streets versus living a life of luxurious comfort.
