SZA’s new album CTRL was supposed to drop in February, but it didn’t. Not to fear, the album is “almost” done according to a couple Top Dawg Entertainment members, though, and to bridge the widening gap between albums, the singer talked about her next project with Pharrell and Scott Vener on OTHERtone radio.

The full show is two hours long, but snippets of the interview are featured throughout. She talked about first getting into music and singing (her brother had her sing Biggie lyrics over MF DOOM beats to make her feel “uncomfortable”), her French bulldog named Piglet and wanting her album to finally get released. “I think I want to stop talking about my music. This is the album that I want to kind of just be self-explanatory,” she said. “Either you f*ck with me or don’t after this.”
