Just a day after receiving millions of dollars in funding, Mass Appeal unveils it’s latest segment, Too Old To Die Young, which is “a short documentary series showcasing the lives of urban culture’s most legendary characters.”
The first subject is Russell Simmons, the legendary music executive and moguel who’s spent the better part of 30 years shaping hip-hop culture.
“It’s hard to describe a typical day, ’cause I don’t have one,” Simmons said, then correcting himself saying he starts every day with hot yoga and cryotherapy, which gets documented before Simmons heads off to an interview with Huffington Post.
