Now, it’s all starting to make sense… somewhat.
In February 2017, DJ Khaled enlisted in the services of one Chance The Rapper to help him announce his tenth studio album Grateful. Some time later, Chano was spotted with Khaled on a video shoot alongside Lil Wayne, the Migos and Justin Bieber.
As it turns out, that isn’t the only song Chance may be on.
Taking to his ever-popular Instagram page, Khaled revealed that he has at least four songs with Chance, all of which may land on Grateful. It’s safe to assume that at least one will be that Migos/Bieber mashup.
Khaled also hinted at both Drake and Rihanna making contributions to the album as well. The lead single, “Shining” with Beyoncé and JAY Z, is in rotation now.
In related Chance news, the Chicagoan — who donated $1 million to the Chicago public school system — announced that he will serve as the Grand Marshall for America’s oldest and largest African American parade, the Bud Billiken Parade in his hometown.
The parade happens August 12th.
