“Witness the future of Justice.”

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to unfold their story arch over the course of 22 films (and three phases), culminating in the ultimate showdown with big bad Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, Warner Bros/DC Entertainment are busy playing catch up with their DC Extended Universe.

The DCEU, which began with 2013’s Man of Steel, followed by the critically panned Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad will eventually introduce Aquaman, The Flash, Cyborg, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman — giving rise to the Justice League.

Before the big seven of DC Comics unite on the silver screen, moviegoers and fans alike will be properly introduced to Amazonian demigod and centuries-old warrior Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman on June 2nd.

Following the first official trailer which made its debut last year, Warner Bros has just unveiled the second trailer, telling the origins of Princess Diana, while giving the audience a closer look into her homeland of Themyscira as well as her adversaries Doctor Poison and General Erich Ludendorff.

Watch the trailer for the Patty Jenkins-helmed Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta), Robin Wright (General Antiope), David Thewlis (Ares), Danny Huston (General Erich Ludendorff), Elena Anaya (Doctor Poison) and Lucy Davis (Etta Candy) below.
