Québec is the second-most populous province of Canada, and is a predominantly French-speaking province in the country. It is also the home of its popular City Summer Festival, one of the longest-running of its kind. As it prepares to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary this year, the city is inviting several stateside acts to perform throughout the 11-day festival.

Taking place July 6th-16th, Kendrick Lamar, Migos, Phantogram and Fetty Wap are among the fifty artists slated to perform throughout. They will be joined by the likes of Metallica, P!nk, the Backstreet Boys, Flume and several others.

Québec City Summer Festival is perhaps one of the cheapest music festivals out as well; tickets for for all 11 days is only $95 CAD (or, about $71.30 USD), or about $8.64 a day. In comparison, the DJ Khaled-hosted Summerfest Cruise starts at over $800 per person for a 4-day boat ride, while Coachella usually requires a blood sacrifice just to fight off sand storms like Mad Max.
