As one could already surmise by now, Run the Jewels are all about their fans.
Before their third album Run the Jewels was officially released late last year, the duo of Killer Mike and El-P were originally gunning for a tentative release date of January 13th. Instead, rap’s socially conscious darlings decided to give fans an early Christmas present — delivering the album on Christmas Eve.
Last night, RTJ — who recently finished the North America leg of their Run The World Tour last month — hit the stages of The Tonight Show to perform “Legend Has It” off Run The Jewels 3.
