Allan Rayman’s Roadhouse 01 dropped last month. (We missed it.) He revisits the project today, though, with a short film called “Verona’s Obsession Vol. 01,” which is basically a music video for his song “13.”
The video sees Rayman stumbling into the back seat of a car driven by a women dressed in a disguise before Rayman turns his shoulder to his advances and bolts out of the car.
“In a celebrity-obsessed world, I wanted to show that the fantasy of fandom often has a darker reality,” director Gabriel Adelman told The FADER, who premiered the video. “I drew inspiration from my favourite early 80’s music videos and films, such as ‘Thriller’ and Evil Dead. It’s a format I’ve been wanting to work in since obsessively watching Much Music Video Countdown as a kid.”
The next part of the short film will be released later this year, according to The FADER. Watch the video above.
