I find myself unnecessarily using my cell phone the most at about 2 a.m. on Monday morning before I have a weeks’ worth of work to do. But some people can’t put their phone down for a couple seconds when they’re around people who care about them, which is the central theme of Connecticut rapper ANoyd‘s new song, “Phony Habits.”
Seemingly dug into the LED lights of his phone because of a former love (or, really, just his love and addiction of social media in general), the phone made ANoyd’s anti-social tendencies worsen even though his personality on the social media apps might say otherwise.
“Phony Habits” is the first release off ANoyd’s A Time And Place project, due out April 18. Watch the video, premiered by the DopeHouse today, below.
