After celebrating the release of Basement Chemistry in early 2016, New Jeruz emcee Beneficence took the majority of the year “off,” as far as new music releases go, continuing to perfect his craft in his nearly 20 + illustrious years of putting pen to pad.
While Beneficence was spotted dropping a hefty round of bars with his Artifacts brethren El Da Sensei and Mr. Complex while on DJ Eclipse’s Rap Is Outta Control, as well as releasing a video for the long-awaited “Make It Hot (Jingle Jangle) 2.0” (featuring Dres of Black Sheep and the song’s original authors The Legion), most of 2016 and 2017 were left as breathing room for Basement Chemistry.
Today, the New Jersey rapper is back with the next video off the seemingly slept-on album, calling on D.I.T.C.’s Andre the Giant for a round of “Smooth Hardcore.”
