This current decade of the Gregorian calendar has sired numerous hip hop reunions. A Tribe Called Quest returned and released a chart-topping album, 50 Cent and G-Unit and OutKast converged back in 2014, and both The Cool Kids and Pac Div have promised new albums in 2017.

Now, add Crime Mob to the list.

M.I.G., Cyco Black, Princess, Lil Jay and Diamond were teenagers when they burst on the scene in 2004 with the riotous “Knuck If You Buck” and “Rock Yo Hips.” However, they would separate in 2007, following their second album Hated on Mostly (Diamond would embark on a solo career after, and appeared on the reality show Sisterhood of Hip Hop). But following a decade-long break, the Mob reunited at Atlanta’s V-103 Live concert to the delight and surprise of the concertgoers.

Following the performance, Big Tigger interviewed the group members where they revealed they plan to release their third studio album in 2017, as well as a joint project from Diamond and Princess.
