Mary J. Blige is nearing her 30th year in music. And almost 25 years after releasing her debut album, What’s the 411?, Ms. Blige will drop her 13th album, Strength of a Woman, on April 28.
Blige’s last album, The London Sessions, was released in 2014. No other details are really known about Strength of a Woman outside of the fact it’ll release the same day as the new Gorillaz album. That’ll be a nice day in music.
UPDATE (3/29): The tracklist has been unveiled with contributions coming from Kanye West, Missy Elliott, Quavo, DJ Khaled, Kaytranada and Prince Charlez.
