Sampha’s Process remains one of the best projects of the year. His latest piece of art surrounding the project comes in the form of a 36-minute short film, which he dedicates to his mother who passed two years ago from cancer.

Process is directed by Kahlil Joseph, who also worked on Beyoncé’s Lemonade film. Scenes from the film were shot in South London and Freetown, Sierra Leone and were soundtracked by Sampha’s debut album.

The full movie is available on Apple Music, and you can watch an excerpt from it below.

Clips and images from the film are being shown at multiple locations around Brooklyn and London over the next couple weeks.
