Lucky Dice – “No Message” f. Phinelia (Video)

blame it on JES7 April 1, 2017

It’s been quite some time since we’ve heard any proper mafioso rap, but Boston stalwart Lucky Dice is looking to re-spark the high energy, 90s East Coast gangster rap that many of us “old heads” so dearly miss.

With his recent album, M.O.S.A. (Memories of a Starving Artist) still in rotation, Dice calls on fellow Beantown bully Phinelia for a cinematic visual for “No Message.”

Produced by Jon Glass and directed by D. Gomez, “No Message” is “a throwback to the golden era” and harks back to an age where Raekwon’s OB4CL, Nas’ It Was Written and AZ’s Doe or Die were known for notoriously blaring out of a Lexus GS on any given day.

Watch the video below, where things get rather… dicey. Okay I’ll see myself out.
