Knox Fortune – “Help Myself”

blame it on Patrick Glynn April 6, 2017

You’ve heard Knox Fortune‘s production and work on songs like Chance the Rapper’s “All Night,” KAMI’s “Scene Girl” and Joey Purp’s “Girls @,” which also features Chance. He’s now venturing into a solo career where he produces and sings, and today, we get the first sampling of what’s to come with “Help Myself.”

The song is a cheery, melodic single that analyzes the self. It sounds like a fusion between early 2000s alternative rock and Britpop from the same era.

“‘Help Myself’ is a song I wrote, focusing on my temptations and recognizing my faults,” he told The FADER. “It’s the first song, of many, that will be coming this year and I’m very excited to share them with you all.”
