Gensu Dean & David Banner – “The Cross”

blame it on Shake April 13, 2017

After getting his start with placement on David Banner and Kamikaze’s Crooked Lettaz debut in 1999, Gensu Dean has went on to lace tracks for Sean Price (RIP), Homeboy Sandman, Denmark Vessey, Planet Asia, new Shady Records signee Conway, and countless others.

Since then, Gensu Dean and David Banner have went on to work together quite a bit during the last 18 years. Most recently, on Banner’s long-awaited The God Box. And during one of the Atlanta sessions, they cooked up “The Cross.”

The song was originally released back in 2015, but our friends at Mello Music Group have decided to breathe new life into it. Mixed and mastered by Hector Delgado, “The Cross” can be heard below.
