During last year’s Black Friday, Brooklyn Academy’s Block McCloud released his powerful, 14-track LP The Book Of Ishmael which featured his Army of the Pharoahs brethren Vinnie Paz, Blacastan, Krumbsnatcha, his wife Fresh Jones and much more.
The album’s namesake was modeled off Block’s government name and plays heavily into familiar themes that the AoTP collective are known for, while maintaining their deep love for unadulterated, raw boom-bap raps. Now, with a new EP entitled Epilogue on the way, Block returns with a video for the third single off The Book Of Ishmael.
