Late last year, New York-reared rapper-director The Last American B-Boy shot and directed a 90-second visual for his Boonie Mayfield-produced conceptual record “Selfie” which ultimately went viral, racking up 70K views where it was posted on his Facebook page.

Now, armed with fresh production (including a dope flip of The O’Jay’s “Who Am I”) courtesy of Ford Tuff and a bottle of liquor, The Last American B-Boy reflects on “the turbulent childhood that shaped him,” penning a lengthy missive to both his mother and father on “Mr. Lewis,” tentatively slated for his upcoming American B-Boy LP.
