Yesterday, we were happy to report Big Boi officially announced his third solo album, Boomiverse. It was also revealed the OutKast legend would be releasing two singles from the project today: a Jack & Jill-inspired drop with Adam Levine, Killer Mike and Jeezy.
“Everybody’s trying to escape reality, and I’m just trying to give them a little piece of it,” Daddy Fat Sax told Lowe about the song. He also dove into his “BigBoomTheory” hashtag he’s used on Twitter, saying his next album is trying to bring it back to the basics (the Big Bang Theory) of getting people to move. Essentially, the album will be styled like OutKast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, with the two separate showcasings of the wide range of music out there.
“Mic Jack,” which was produced by DJ Dahi and features the Maroon 5 front man, was premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show. Listen to it on Beats 1 or below.

Next, we have “Kill Jill” with Killer Mike and Jeezy.

Big Boi also revealed he has a song with Gucci Mane called “In The South” on the album, and it’s produced by Scott Storch.
