Nico Segal, formerly known as Donnie Trumpet, is one of the many eclectic minds behind The Social Experiment and was a member of Chicago’s Kids These Days. He has now branched off and formed a new group, The JuJu.
A four-piece jazz troup composed of Segal, pianist Julian Reid, bassist Lane Beckstrom, and drummer Everett Beckstrom, The JuJu has released their debut project Exchange. A seven-track EP, Exchange features the likes of Nate Fox (who recorded and mixed the album) and Jamila Woods (on “We Good”).
