North Carolina rapper Well$ burst onto our radar nearly three years ago with slick rhymes that later culminated in his The Way I’m Living Makes My Mom Nervous album.
His latest effort, “Rosé,” is a deviation from the norm, though, replacing a hard-hitting backdrop and aggressive bars with synth-laden production as he sings about living an upscale lifestyle with a woman whom he’s taken a liking to.
There’s no word on if “Rosé” is the beginning of a new sound that Well$ will carry over onto a project, but for now, you can listen to the song, produced by VACAY and Tommy Coyote, below.
