The rhythmic soundtrack to JSWISS‘ “LML” (“Live My Life”) is incredibly intoxicating, piloted by Dre Rubio‘s romantic obsession with Catalyst’s “Uzuri” (made popular on Heltah Skeltah’s “Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka”).
The minimalist sound bed gives JSWISS enough room to weave in his narrative of embracing whatever struggles one may face–whether that’s finding enough study time before your next exam or living pay check to pay check—and learn to navigate through a road filled with misfortunes.
As the New York lyricist explained to us:
