MC Eiht Taps DJ Premier & WC For “Represent Like This”

Frustratingly, some of today’s hip hop fans only know MC Eiht from his scene-stealing verse on Kendrick Lamar’s “m.A.A.d. city.” However, Eiht has been a legendary staple in West Coast gangsta rap for virtually his entire musical career, and his works — both solo, and as a member of Compton’s Most Wanted — stand strong to this day.

Side note: “Straight Up Menace” and “Growin’ Up In The Hood” are undebatable California classics.

Anyways, Eiht has been working on his thirteenth(!) album, Which Way Iz West, which is slated for a June 9th release and will be executive produced by DJ Premier. Eiht has teamed with both Primo and WC (of the Maad Circle and Westside Connection) for its latest single, “Represent Like This.” Produced by Brenk Sinatra, the hard-hitting track can be heard below.
